I took the image above from PostSecret. It is a place where people from all over the country send in anonymous postcards that expressed their "secrets" and their innermost feeling that includes guilt, joy, love, hate...This blog can make me laugh, and get sad, and then make me think more about life, not only my own life, but any ordinary people's lives that I encounter each and every day, and more importantly, the intangible burden that they may have to bear inside. At no where else can you find strikingly honest confessions such as, "Sometimes, I put the ring you gave me on my ring finger and pretend you married me instead of her" or, "When no one is looking, I pick my nose...and eat it" or just simply, "I want to be FREE." Go and see it for yourself. New postcards are posted every Sunday. A fantastic blog in a sense.
Another blog that I often visit is Noodlepie. This is a rare blog about Vietnamese food. Written by a British gentlement with a defined British humor. Go to Archives - Category list and you can find all kinds of Vietnamese specialities here, but of course, you can't eat it. Just for "looking" only . Good description of the food, too. I find it interesting to know what a foreigner think about "banh cuon" or "banh bao", or "bun rieu." Here is a picture from that blog, as the author called it, "banh cuon spead":
